ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful recording. Thank you! Question: on track #4, "CT, JL, Ann S McC" I assume the first two are Cecil and Jimmy but who is Ann? Steve's wife, daughter, mother, someone else? Or perhaps a stylisted version of Mingus' MDM (Ann = "and"??) Anyone have insight?
ReplyDeleteThank you! Great band, not enough records. This is very welcome.
ReplyDeleteHi dolphyfan,
ReplyDeleteyou're right, the dedications are for Cecil Taylor and Jimmy Lyons and "Ann SMcC" means: announcement by Steve McCall ;-)
