CT with Tristan Honsinger, Teppo Hauta-aho, Harri Sjöström and Paul Lovens recorded in 1998 at Tampere Jazz Happening, Finland.
Then we have a collaboration of Roscoe Mitchell with three Polish musicians which is available since November 2020 from Bocian Records.
The only musician I knew before was - apart from RM - the reed player Jerzy Mazzoll whom I remember from some concerts with Peter Brötzmann.
Two more RM are due for release or already available (not listened yet nor did I found a source for obtaining.
Roscoe Mitchell / Gerald Oshita / Thomas Buckner - Soundscape 1979 / Unreleased Historical Recordings (ScienSonic)

JOHN RUSSELL - R.I.P. (1954 - 2021)
Photo Andy Newcombe
Sad: I learned an hour ago that John Russell has died yesterday.
I was lucky to see him in May, 2010 in Munich where he held a workshop and gave a concert afterwards.
I remember him as being an open guy with a great humour. Between two sets we've talked outside the club (we're both smoking a cigarette) and he told me several jokes - not only about musicians. Will miss him not only as a singular guitarist and musician. Still cherish these memories of a human being which impressed me not only with his musicianship.

Bobby Few October 21, 1935 - January 6, 2021
From early sessions with Albert Ayler to his most recent recordings with Waclaw Zimpell and his own discography, Bobby Few was a singular voice in the free jazz area. Still lyrical in the middle of the stormy twin team of Frank Wright and Noah Howard, his music was the real reflect of himself, a quiet guy, peaceful. Trained in classical music and gospel, his touch on the key was immediately recognisable.
Here is a breath taking performance in solo. I have added to the file an interview that I’ve realised for radio campus Paris in May 2017, it is the original conversation in english before an editing and translate with addition of music for the program in french.
