ReplyDeleteThank you very much!
ReplyDeleteThe link appears to be for the recent group. Am I missing the link for the group that was Recorded in June 1972, Lafayette Park, Washington DC? I don't see it. Please advise if I'm mistaken and thank you.
ReplyDeleteHi Jawn Michael, the correct link is in the first comment given by Correct Silence.
ReplyDeleteI see (and hear) 6 tacks after unpacking and scans of the CD.
The link to bandcamp is for the newer recording with Joe Gallivan with two other musicians which are not on the 1972 recording.
Thanks I get it now. User error on my part, as I mistook the 1997 to be the date of the recording and failed to look at the liner notes. This is brilliant by the way. Love the electronics. Kind of reminiscent of Wolfgang Dauner's Et Cetera.
ReplyDeleteNice one. I have this one, most likely the cd version that was posted here. Btw, there is a fairly new lp version out, from what I can see, with the original gate fold sleeve and all. The obvious follow-up to this one is Young's own Lawrence of Newark, which came out the year after. Another goodie, I'm telling ya.
ReplyDeleteAwesome!
ReplyDeleteBack in the days of the audiocassette, I'd have put "Love Cry Want" on Side A, and "Friends" on Side B (Marc Cohen, John Abercrombie, Clint Houston):

(Has "Friends" ever appeared on this blog?)
Thank you
ReplyDeleteThe album Friends by Marc Cohen is a terrific album that really surprised me, given the somewhat homemade character of the artwork. I would really like to hear it again if someone kindly posts it.
ReplyDeleteMerci !
ReplyDeletePlease could you repost.
