Thanks a lot, Nick!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much- that one has been on my "wanted" list for years- much appreciated that you shared it!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Nick. I wonder wether Andy Bey singing might lessen the experience for me.
ReplyDeleteNothing against Andy Bey but I'm much more into instrumental music, with comparably few exceptions.
Very interesting. Thanx.
ReplyDeleteDeliriously happy to have this. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteEXCELLENT!...(Ernst spoke wiselly, dow)...
ReplyDeleteHUGE THX!...
Wow! Been wondering about this one for years. Thank you for much for sharing this!!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much!
ReplyDeleteObviously I'm the only one to have some problems with adrive. I can't download this file and tried with safari and firefox with the same result. So I checked with some older adrive links that I could previously download and the result is the same. Tomorrow I will try again with the connection of my job to see if it comes from my personal connection or if it is a bigger problem.
ReplyDeleteUtterly amazing this finally turned up!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
ole
ReplyDeleteI asked to three people to download this file and none of them can access, none of them can also access to the rest of adrive, if some followers of this blog are living in France can they report if they can download the file or no?
ReplyDeletecorrect silence i can post a fichier link...please reply!!!...
ReplyDeleteBig Moncur fan, but never heard him doing standards.
ReplyDeleteLiked Bey (with Bartz) in his early years, but less sure now.
Anyway, anxious to hear this. Thanks, Nick.
Brown and Moncur make this a must. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing - much appreciated

ReplyDeletei was looking for that LP for a loooooooooooooooong time!
ReplyDeletethank you Nick, I was really counting on you for this
ReplyDeleteThank you. I've been searching for this.
ReplyDeleteMy opinion will certainly be very different but for me it is a disappointing album comparing to his preview recordings on blue note or byg. At this time Grachan Moncur was showing an incredible original style of compositions and playing. The standards on this record are played in a relatively classical style, his sound is still exciting but the mood of the record is in my opinion very far from his preview recordings.
ReplyDeleteThank you Nick, it helped me to confirm that "New Africa" is definitely a masterpiece.
Lovely! Thanks Nick.
ReplyDeleteThanks wow!
ReplyDeleteWow thanks!
ReplyDeleteVery nice. Thanks, Nick!
