  2. Ernst Sorry to have another bad news but this one is also in mono. I suppose it is the same person who did the rip like the preview one.

  4. Francisco have you noticed that there are two pianist and two bassists, how can you make the difference between both when the recording is transferred in mono? If the purpose is just to add more and more files in some hard disk it doesn't matter but if the purpose is to listen carefully to the music it is different. For what kind of followers are we working? Ernst I guess I ask too much but if you own the original lp is it possible to make a new transfer?

  6. Thanks Ernst! I'd appreciate a stereo-rip, too.

I have ripped two other Sell LP's: "Innovationen" (1980) and "Der Heilig'n Landmusik" (1984). If there's interest, I could upload audio in 320 + cover photos.

(Also not my rip...so maybe mono as well...)

I will try to do a new rip of my mint copy of "Emanationen" tomorrow.
I have also a copy of Sell's "Der Heilig'n Landmusik" (and more) - shall do a rip in the near future as well.

  8. Thank in advance Ernst for the up coming new rip.
Innovationen is in stereo, right channel seems louder but it might be coming from the original mix.

mike - I have some of his later CD's, but for me they are on a very different level (and they are still in print, afaik).

  12. This is an incredible album with deeply original and strong compositions. Before listening I thought that the double instruments will create a sort of fight but every instrument brings contribution to a real collective music, no confrontation between the two bass, the two drums or the two pianos. A real masterpiece.
