  3. I nominate Andy for a Nobel Prize; he has succeeded in capturing for prosperity possibly the ultimate flowering of that art form called jazz. Yeehaw!

  4. Andy, even with the enormous amount of music available on the internet, your contributions stand out. Thanks.

  5. Thank you Anonymous. I'm very glad they are appreciated. There is another saxophonist who I used to record at gigs in the 1990s and I'm dying to share but I have to respect his wishes not to. Every so often I ask if he still feels the same, and he does.

  7. Yes, I agree with you, Man Of The Thousand Names (here androzo), Andy deserves the Nobel Prize!
I grew up with the Jazz of the 70's, when musicians put in their music their feelings, their soul, their heart. Now what young jazzmen put in their music? What they learn at Berkeley or other Schools of Music...

  8. Andy, "Folks" and the 4 CD set "Folks History" are among my favourite discs of ever. So, can you realize which kind of surprise and gift have you done to me?!!! Furthermore there is the (unespected for me) addition of two musicians, Sophia and Tony, that I love so much!
    A million of thanks!

  9. Hmmm, Andy I'm very curious about the saxophonist who doesn't wish you share his music...
    Any other clue?
