Thank you so much for this --- I absolutely loved the London Lighthouse recording with this same AMM lineup, I believe you were the generous person who posted that one. Hearing that sent me back to 'The Nameless Uncarved Block' for another listen. I hadn't really fathomed Lou Gare's role in the AMM before hearing these performances. Now I feel that the period from around 1988-1994, when either Gare or Rohan de Saram made them a quartet, was a clear, sustained high point for the group.
Another request for the second set, of course! (When you have the time.)
i remember an amm gig at beanbenders in berkeley while upstairs a prom party with rock and roll was going on. many were bothered. but not amm, tilbury in particular would incorporate melodies from upstairs. robert
