2. 11:21
Rare Music Club, Bristol. 22 January 1993 (Second set)
Did someone say Tony Levin?
Yikes! This sounds great, and rarer than the rarest rare rarity.
Would appreciate some feed-back. Thanks.
Which venue was that, Andy? We may have passed, like ships in the night.
ReplyDeleteThanks,Andy- Another musical insight into two of your country's best mujicians, hope everyone enjoys the offering!
ReplyDelete@Nick. That's a good question. I've only written Rare Music Club on the cdr transfer, and I can't seem to find the cassette. All my other recordings from the Milaap were in 1992. Recordings at the Glos Cricket Club were from 1994. I don't recognise the speaker's voice at the very end. The squeaking door though does sound like the Milaap. All good trainspotterishtypestuff. I'm sure we would have done the ships in the night thing sometime.
ReplyDeleteAppreciated as always Andy. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteAndy, what can I say? I have no words ... You keep making happy some people like me.
ReplyDeleteTony Levin lives!
Excellent! Not that i would expect anything less from these two. Thank you Andy for yet another treasure.
ReplyDeleteThank you Andy. Dunmall + Levin = a winning combination. As with Mujician : please find us the first set too
ReplyDeleteWonderful. That's Saturday listening sorted. I really never believed I'd have so much more of these guys to listen to.
ReplyDelete@Nick. Paul has consulted his diary. It was the Milaap. Keith was in India that week!
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure I was there, but it's all a blur. At leasty I don't have to remember, because I can listen to it right now. Great music and sound.

Thanks a lot, Andy
ReplyDeleteAndy, I was surprised with Essential Expressions, it sounds almost traditional, but lovely. Live recording is a lot more expressive. Masters.
