Dear Sue, I put it here. Firstly, thanks for correcting my dyslexic jumble of MADLI. Do you mind it being here? I will delete it if so. Here’s the thing. In the 90s I used to record gigs on my little cassette player, always with the permission of the musicians. I would send them copies. Now, twenty plus years later I have boxes of cassettes which will probably get junked when I die. A couple of years ago I came across this site and was delighted to find a group of like-minded souls who loved free jazz and improvisation. And here was a wealth of music for the soul and a strong ethos of not sharing any music that is commercially available. I felt as though I would like to contribute. This music is so magical that it can open up a part of you that you didn’t know existed and I have always felt the desire to spread the word, to share the love, give the musicians exposure, and help to make the world a better place. Mostly I have been posting Paul Dunmall related stuff here and Paul is always pleased to have his music out there. However, for whatever reason, others may feel differently and I don’t want to offend anybody. I guess I should have asked you first. Let me know if you’d like me to take it down.
Hi Andy, i discovered your blog few days ago, and I sincerely congratulate you for your pretty fine music choice, and thank you for sharing it. Today I found this MADLI's Mums album, but unfortunately the link is no longer working. I read the enthusiastic comments and I got very impatient to listen to it, but I didn't find another possibility neither to download it nor to simply listen to it. All this said, can you please re-up it? TIA Angelo
