  1. The concert took place in January 1969 in Munich, after this all-star group toured South America the year before. So, it was kind of a reprise for their German fans. (I met Albert Mangelsdorff, the trombonist on this exquisite cover shot, a few times - an exquisite musician and a very likeable person.)

  3. Finally I got to hear it thanks to you Nick.
    Tom Lord's discography says it was recorded in spring '69.
    But wether January or spring it is a great share. Especially for my recent research interests.
