During the last three or four years I could locate and obtain most of Takayanagi's recordings. Especially as some seminal outings were re-iisued on CD.
ReplyDeleteBut this one always failed to turn up.
So - thank you Nick.
I assume it is not as ferocious as most other LPs he has recorded.
Thanks again - you are pampering me ;-)
God bless you, sir, and your children and your children's children and other assorted relations.
ReplyDeleteCool, thanks.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Thank you for giving me the chance to hear this hard to find Takayanagi! John
ReplyDeleteI'm always looking for new guitarists, new music to go along with my essential listening (Bailey/Rowe/Hendrix/Dean McPhee) and this name is unfamiliar, looking forward to it... thanks very much!
ReplyDeleteNew to me. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThanks very much for sharing this rarity with us.
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU SO MUCH.
ReplyDeleteI had this (very expensive!) excellent album but it was lost/destroyed nine years ago during a cross-country move when two boxes of my CDs burst in shipment. I've been looking for it ever since.
Spectacular! Thanks yet again Nick.
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot! BTW: Jinya in Japan have reissued quite a lot of Jojo's work:

The live cd of the same title was easy to get, but this one no, there's only a piece on youtube. To have it here is a real joy. Infinite thanks!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
ReplyDeleteTHANKS for this record. Masayuki Takayanagi is always welcome!!!
ReplyDeletethanks,I've wanted to hear this recording which does not disappoint. Love the way he patiently works his thru the tunes and the precise tone of the guitar.
ReplyDeleteCan't find this anywhere! could you please re-link?
ReplyDeleteWe don't post music that is in-print and this was removed after it was re-released
ReplyDeletereasonable. but why not leave the LP artwork shared?
ReplyDeleteBecause then I have to go find the files and re-upload them.
