ReplyDeleteyou're blog has always been a lot of fun and I wish you all the best in 2012.
ReplyDeletedefinite-ly gonna enjoy this 1. thanks :-)
ReplyDeleteAh, Charles Tyler. I know about this one, but never seen or heard it. There was a second one, too? Would love to see it if anyone has it. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYes there is a volume 2. I've got it, but unfortunately I'm too much of a luddite to know how to rip an LP... sorry. I love these records. Also have Tyler's solo 60 Minute Man which is definitely worth hearing. Hopefully someone with more tech skills than me also has them!
ReplyDelete@ Kinabalu: I posted both volumes on C#9 in early 2007, plus a couple of other Tylers. Did you not catch them? Anyhow, they were not in flac ... so a repost is due.
ReplyDelete@glmlr: Those escaped me, unfortunately. I would love a repost, if it can be arranged.
ReplyDeleteWould love to hear "Definite 2" - as well!
ReplyDeleteI'll chip in to say that I too have Vol 2 and can oblige. Only I'm sometimes found making promises to rip the odd thing, writing it down on the back of a beer mat, and nothing further becomes of it (mea culpa). I fancy that glmlr may be the more reliable correspondent here.. Although Tyler's '60 Minute Man' I have already ripped to post..err..some time soon.
ReplyDeleteHi onxidlib, I don't if other folk are having the same problems accessing multiupload as I am but since the megaupload shut down its proving very difficult. Is there any chance you might re-up this post tthrough another server? Of course no problem if its a 'No'. Perhaps when and if the situation resolves this may be a little easier to pick up. Many thanks.

ReplyDeleteMany thanks..
ReplyDeleteWonderful ! Many many thanks !
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for posting this. Very hard to come across, at least for me. I had the great fortune of studying under Charles in NYC in late 70s and was always in awe of his playing. An incredible human being. I still miss him.

ReplyDeleteThanks kinabalu, for re-upping these 2 Charles Tyler albums. Much appreciated.
ReplyDeleteI have the cassette version of this and a very crudely made digital rip I attempted years ago. This is a very welcome re-up. Many thanks. I'm heading over to Vol.2 now, so thanks for that too!
