There was something vaguely familiar with the "unknown" part of the second piece, Eclipse at Dawn, which sounded quite Monkish to these ears. Truly wonderful music.
One more to come! Just gotta have a listen to it beforehand.
There is a tune of the same name, reported as written by Ibrahim, on the eponymously titled album by the Brotherhood of Breath. Listening to it, it bears no resemblance whatsoever to the tune which can be heard on this live recording and which can also be found on ibrahim's Blues for a Hip King. Puzzling.
