  1. Thanks for this - I love Curson as a musician and as a truly lovely guy. When I first moved to the US in the mid-80s he was running the after-hours jam session at the Blue Note in New York. He was great to the upcoming musicians and always played storming trumpet. He was also a regular, seen often just hanging out in the Village. I think he spends a lot of his time in Finland these days. I hope he is feeling as great as his music makes me feel.
