ReplyDeleteWhat treasure! Marvelous group, and Bob Stewart is always a treat.
ReplyDeleteSweet! Five Masters at the top of their game. The Moers concert is one of my favorite Carter recordings - this is a most welcome addition. Just love the suppleness of that Carter/Bradford/Newton front-line.

ReplyDeleteIt is most likely at the Middelheim Festival, as it is traditonally in mid-august and I have a book about the Festival, which clearly has the group scheduled for 1979. The exact day is however not specified.
ReplyDeleteMerci beaucoup, VolumeSelector!
