HJT Trio - Live in Milan '82


This trio was a benchmark for the French jazz scene at the
end of the seventies.
Humair, in particular, may be considered one of the great
innovators among the European jazz drummers.

  2. Thanks for this, riccardo. I thought I should mention that we have posted Francois Jeanneau before, namely here as he was on the first Francois Tusques record, "Free Jazz" back in 1965

  3. Just picked up a copy of Jeanneau's 1976 record, Gentle Touch. J.-F. Jenny Clark, Aldo Romano & Grailler are the band. If there's interest, I can rip a copy and post it here.

    Just was doing some research and apparently this was reissued on Emarcy in 2006 or 2005 and it remains in print, so no uploading, even though it's pretty steep ($25 on Amazon). Great playing from Jenny-Clark and Jeanneau on soprano, though, even if Romano sounds a bit bored. My copy was only $4, so perhaps a vinyl copy can be had for not much more...
