  5. just heard that the great Von Freeman has passed.Great albums on Atlantic and Nessa are worth tracking down, and there's recent stuff,too. I think Steeplechase has some nice Von. Our condolences to Chico and the Freeman family, and the whole Chicago jazz fraternity, they just lost a huge pillar of jazz strength.
