Crikey! They're coming thick and fast.  Are you keeping up?  Here's the rest of a concert of which Onxidlib kindly posted Set 2 of some time ago.  I chose that set as I thought it was extra special, but of course the rest isn't that far behind.  Fabulous as always.  All playing their arses off.

Shockabilly- "Normal", Illinois, April 6 1985 AUD

Purportedly one of the last shows by Shockabilly the original and best psychedelic Post punk band..

LSD Country and Western was the first Chadbourne thing i ever bought when it came out , still a great chewy listen! , and what a fine introduction to the likes of Tom Cora and T.Kondo...

This is a hugely atmospheric tape recording, complete with drop outs ,bleed through and minor distortions ... lots of near chaotic frenzied improv ( Electric Rake ,heavily featured!) between typical deconstructions of classic 60's Songs..beautiful stuff!

I've retained the original seeders info file... he seems to find Eugene's Politics funny , perhaps dated and somewhat embarrassing ...., Fuck him ...Chadbourne's Politics are more relevant than ever!!
Chadbourne is selling some live Shockabilly shows, and i think the original albums are mostly reissued by Shimmy Disc Kramer's label ,now back in business!

' Small contribution to the OP Futura thread ...

Here's a Lesser Known record by the great Jaki Byard , too often unjustly remembered Solely as a Mingus side Man.

his Tenure with Mingus was relatively Short , theres a lot more to him than that, he was one of the most interesting 'Mainstream 'jazz pianists of his day!

Byard's string of eclectic adventurous records for Prestige in the 60's are magnificent, as is his later post 70's oeuvre , for labels as diverse as Muse, Concord ,Soul Note,and Leo...

He also plays Alto sax on 3 tracks here, astoundingly playing Fractured Tayloresque runs on Piano ,and  simultaneously scrabbly  Japan in a dishpan like Alto on the 'Garnering ,a bit Free Suite for Paris'..

Byards was a masterfully executed flawlessly inventive Technique which effectively synthesizes, Stride, Earl Hines ,so called Trumpet Style, Bud Powell and Free Jazz.

 Byard Also loved Piano duets, recording great ones with Howard Riley, Earl Hines, and Ran Blake....and Tommy Flanagan(see comments)

He  recorded a solo album for Futura , 'Parisian Solos'which has been reissued and can be found here its great!

TRIO RICOCHET "BROOKLYN, FEBRUARY 2006"

Nobu Stowe (須藤伸義 = Nobuyoshi Suto, Ph.D.) was born in Maebashi, Gumma, Japan. He started taking piano lessons at age 3 and composition at age 6.  Stowe moved to the US to study Music (composition) and Psychology at University of California, at Berkeley.  He then moved to Chicago to pursue graduate studies at University of Chicago.  After receiving the doctorate degree in Psychology, he moved to Baltimore for post-doctoral training at National Institute of Health.  In Baltimore, Stowe formed the post-fusion unit TRIO RICOCHET and performed at top venues, including Blue Note N.Y., The Knitting Factory, and Smithonian Institute.  In addition to his composition-based piano trio, Stowe has lead/co-lead various projects exploring ‘total-improvisation’ (a la Keith Jarrett) collaborating with Perry Robinson, Badal Roy, Andrea Centazzo, Dave Ballou, Lisle Ellise, Brian Groder et al.  He recently formed a new trio with the Italian multireedist Achille Succi and the drum legend Barry Altschul.  Stowe has been featured/interviewed internationally on All About Jazz (USA), Jazz Review.com (USA), Coda Magazine (Canada), All About Jazz Italia (Italy), Jazz Colo(u)rs (Italy), Cuadernos de Jazz (Spain), Toma Jazz (Spain), Impro Jazz (France), Citizen Jazz (France), Bitaites (Portugal), Jazz & Tzaz (Greece), El Intruso (Argentina), and Jazz Tokyo (Japan).  Stowe regularly contributes columns and interviews (including ones with Keith Jarrett, Michel Legrand, Gary Peacock, Paul Bley, Bill Frisell, Martial Solal, Marilyn Crispell, and Chico Hamilton) for Jazz Tokyo (www.jazztokyo.com).  Stowe is the contributing author of "ECM カタログ” – the first ever complete catalogue of ECM Records (1969-2010) with full color album covers just published in Japan.  He recently moved to San Diego and currently conducts scientific research at The Scripps Research Institute.

The pieces presented here are the complete,
unedited recordings of the two performances we gave during
the 5 Rassegna Internazionale del Jazz di Pisa on 27 June 1980
in San Zeno Abbey of Pisa, Italy,
organized yearly by the Centre for the Research into Improvised Music
(CRIM) and the 'Actual 81 Music Festival'
on 23 August 1981 at the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) in London,
promoted by Actuel Music. On both occasions,
Evan Parker had been invited to assemble together musicians to perform in groups of varying combinations.

This concert was recorded 15 months after the LP "Flaps" here.
Part of "Flaps was released on CD there. Lacy and Koglmann made one more LP where Bill Dixon + Koglmann (without Lacy) can be heard on the first side . A few tracks also made it on to the mentioned CD.
