This was the first occasion this group played together. There was another at the Vortex in 1997 which I recorded on cassette and a studio session in 2000 when Tony Marsh took Mark Sanders' place. Both of those were issued on Paul Dunmall's cdr label 'Dun's Limited Edition' as 'ZAP II'(DLE004)and ZAP III (DLE 005). The great guitar player John Adams has disappeared from the scene in recent years.
