Thank you. The Albert Inn is a pub in Bristol which has been the scene of some great jazz in that town for years. Although I'm unsure of its status these days (?)

I was at these Bristol gigs. Never expected to hear them again. So thank you greatly. Ian Storror, the landlord of the Albert was an amazing supporter of jazz. It's a modest size Bristol boozer, but there would often be a band downstairs and Keith Tippett playing solo upstairs as the 'second line' act for the night. One of the highlights was the night Ian crammed the David Murray Octet onto the Albert's tiny stage for two blazing sets. Sadly, Ian has passed on, but will be remembered as an wonderful friend to musicians.

I've spent the last five years or so discovering and collecting anything featuring Keith Tippett.
Thank you so much for these Mujician recordings and all of the other wonderful tings to be found on inconstant sol!
